Privacy notice
For early-access registrations on tradah.com.au. Version 2026-10-31-v1.
This notice explains how we handle personal information when you register your interest in tradah. tradah is intended for businesses. Registering doesn’t create a marketplace account, and any later use of the marketplace will have its own terms.
Who we are
This website is operated by Willetts Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 35 702 625 081) (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at hello@tradah.com.au.
In future, tradah may be operated by a related company. If personal information is transferred as part of that change, we’ll notify you and handle the transfer in accordance with applicable privacy law.
What we collect
We collect the following directly from you through the registration form:
- your name, business name and work email
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- your suburb or postcode, or the areas your business serves
- whether you’re registering as a customer or a supplier, and what you’re interested in
- anything you choose to write in the message box
- your consent choices: the consent wording and privacy notice version you were shown, what you decided and when
Please don’t include sensitive information, such as health details, in the message box.
To limit abuse, we also keep a scrambled code made from your internet (IP) address, instead of the address itself. It isn’t stored with your registration, and it’s deleted within about three days. Our hosting provider may separately keep short-term technical logs, which can include your IP address.
This site uses no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- contact you about early access to tradah
- understand which customers, suppliers and areas are interested, so we can plan the launch
- keep a record of your consent, and answer your questions and requests
- protect this site from spam and abuse
Giving us your details is your choice, but we can’t register you without the required details. The phone number and message are optional.
How we contact you
We may contact you by email, or by phone if you gave a number, about early access.
We’ll send occasional news by email only if you ticked the separate news box. Each news email will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing hello@tradah.com.au.
Who can see it
Only people working on tradah who need it for the purposes above. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t give it to marketplace participants or other businesses.
We use service providers: Vercel for hosting, Supabase for the database and Google for email. They handle information on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Where it’s stored, and how it’s protected
Registrations are stored in a database hosted in Sydney, Australia, separate from the tradah marketplace. The website can add a registration but can’t read the list, and access to the list is restricted.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service is completely secure.
Overseas handling
Our service providers operate internationally, so your information may be accessed, held or processed outside Australia:
- Supabase is a Singapore company. The main copy of registrations is held in Sydney, but its staff and sub-processors in other countries, including the United States and Singapore, may access or process information to run, support and secure the service.
- Vercel is a United States company. This site runs in Sydney, but Vercel’s primary processing facilities are in the United States, and logs or backups may be held elsewhere.
- Google is a United States company. Emails you exchange with us may be stored and processed in any country where Google or its sub-processors have facilities.
These providers may use other countries, so we can’t list them all. If you use this site from outside Australia, your form may also pass through servers in other countries on its way to Sydney.
How long we keep it
We delete your registration and its consent records 12 months after you register, or sooner if you ask us to. Copies in our providers’ backups may last until those backups expire. Emails you exchange with us are kept separately, for as long as we need them.
If you become a marketplace user, your account will be covered by its own terms.
Your choices and rights
Email hello@tradah.com.au to ask for a copy of your information, correct it, withdraw your consent or have your registration deleted. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you withdraw consent to being contacted about early access, we’ll delete your registration.
We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Questions and complaints
To make a privacy complaint, email hello@tradah.com.au with the subject “Privacy complaint”. Tell us your name, how to contact you, what happened and what you’d like us to do. It’s free.
We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days, look into it, and give you our decision and reasons in writing within 30 days. If we need longer, we’ll tell you why and when to expect a response.
If you’re not satisfied, or don’t hear from us within 30 days, you can complain to the Australian privacy regulator, the OAIC, at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
